The CHEER SYSTEM ready-made insulator sheets consisted of 2-sided outer surfaces which are made of galvanized steel coated with silicone modified polyester paint, a type of paint with excellent durability in various environments. It is coated and colored with high temperature, so the paint is consistently adhered to the galvanized steel and scratch resistant. The core of insulator is expansion polystyrene with density of 1.25 pound / lbf.

The steel and the polystyrene are attached by polymer adhesive, using continuous injection machine that can apply the adhesive and attach the sheets together evenly. The outer surfaces can be made into waves in order to enhance the strength of the insulator sheet’s structure.

Coating
The outer surface is coated with 25 microns silicone modified polyester paint. The paint can be identified as 5 microns of primer and 20 microns of topcoat. The inner surface is coated with 5 microns primer and 8 microns topcoat

Color
The standard color of outer surface is white.
The standard color of inner surface is grey.

Properties of Polystyrene Insulator Sheet
The polystyrene insulator that is acceptable for producing the ready-made insulator sheet CHEER SYSTEM must be qualified as follows:-

Compressive Strength
    - The polystyrene sheets for wall insulation must be able to withstand pushing force of 15 pounds / sq. inch and should not be sunken more than 10 % of the thickness without breaking or tearing.
    - The polystyrene sheets for floor insulation must be able to withstand pushing force of 20 pounds / sq. inch and should not be sunken more than 10 % of the thickness without breaking or tearing.

Cross-Breaking Strength
    - The polystyrene sheets for wall insulation must be able to withstand the cross-breaking at least 24 pound/ lb. inch
    - The polystyrene sheets for floor insulation must be able to withstand the cross-breaking at least 30 pound/ lb. inch

Saturated Steam
The polystyrene must be saturated steamed up to 70 grams/ sq. m. at 100 °F and 90% humidity for 24 hours.

Thermal Conductivity
    - Thermal conductivity of polystyrene wall insulation must be up to 0.23 BTU. Inches / FT2 H. 0F AT 50 0F
    - Thermal conductivity of polystyrene floor insulation must be up to 0.22 BTU. Inches / FT2 H. 0F AT 50 0F

Flame Retardant
Polystyrene that we use is flame retardant.
